The Phoenix Fire Department responds to an average of 20 emergency calls each and every hour around the clock.

The men and women on the frontlines need our help.

That’s more than 177,000 responses to 9-1-1 emergencies each and every year.

Phoenix fire fighters cover an area that measures 519 square miles.

And they stand responsible for a city that more than 1.4 million people call home.

That’s where the Phoenix Fire Foundation comes in. As the official non-profit charitable arm of the Phoenix Fire Department, the efforts of the Foundation begin where the Fire Department’s resource-strapped budget ends.
