Is a survivor of a crash involving a drunk driver which burned over 95% of her body. Co-founded MADD and SADD in Arizona and was the National Vice President of MADD for six years. On the National Board for SADD and involved in several community groups. Started Ashes to Life burn support group and Arizona Children’s Burn Camp. Has been a volunteer for over 30 years and received many awards and recognition for accomplishments but giving back and helping people is the best reward. She has served on many boards, been a speaker to schools as well as prison inmates and will continue volunteering as long as she is able.
